Location
Your horseback ride will depart from our Bair Ranch location, located between Glenwood Springs and Vail / Beaver Creek.

Interstate 70, Exit 129
Be cautious with your GPS, they often get confused with the ranch exits and private roads. Please read the directions below, and make sure you understand where you are going before you begin your drive.
From Glenwood Springs you will take I-70 EAST towards Denver, and expect about a 20 minute drive.
If you are coming from the Vail / Beaver Creek Area, you will take I-70 WEST towards Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction, for about a 45 minute drive.
From Interstate-70 follow the directions below:
- Take EXIT 129 – Bair Ranch
- If the rest area is closed, our guests are still allowed to access our private property. You may drive around any cones that are marking the exit as closed.
- Exit into the Rest Area
- Take the private bridge across the river – GATE CODE: 3006
- Follow the red and white arrows to the office.
- ACCESS TO OUR RANCH OFFICE IS OVER LIVE RAILWAY TRACKS, PLEASE LOOK BOTH DIRECTIONS PRIOR TO CROSSING AND DRIVE WITH CAUTION OVER TRACKS, DO NOT DRIVE ACCROSS TRACKS IF A TRAIN IS IN SIGHT AT ANY TIME !!!!
- Do not attempt to drive an RV, Bus, or other large vehicles over the tracks. If you are arriving in an oversized vehicle, please call us at 970-945-7529 for special instructions. WE WILL TELL YOU WHERE TO PARK AT THE BASE OF THE RANCH AND COME AND GET YOU.
- Follow the dirt road until you arrive at our office.
Arrival
Please arrive at the time you booked, the time in your confirmation email is the time you need to arrive.
For those traveling in RVs & Oversized Vehicles, please call ahead for special parking instructions.
Recommend Gear
Wearing pants is highly suggested, and closed toed shoes are required. NO Sandals or flip-flops.
Along with dressing the part, we suggest having the following:
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Hat
- Water Bottle

Cancellations and rescheduling require a minimum of 24 hours notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows will not be refunded. If you wish to reschedule within 24 hours, please let us know and we may be able to accommodate based on availability.
